Not Again: List of Chapters

Not Again is a short story that I wrote back in my Junior year of high school. It isn’t the best, but I just haven’t have the time to go back and edit at it because it really does. Anyway, here is the list of chapters, just so you don’t have to scroll through all of them.

Intro and Chapter 1:

~Chapter 6~

~Sami’s POV~

I can’t believe I killed her. I can’t believe that I actually did that. I walked back and forth in my room, trying to think of what I had done. Flashbacks of stabbing Alexis’s mother came back into my head. I then started to cry even more. I just killed my other mother.
Alexis’s mother, Beth, was like another mother to me. I couldn’t believe that she was actually gone and is gone because of me. My mother never really cared about me, I was just a money-making machine for her. I used to be in beauty pageants all the time and whatever money that I won, went right to her. That’s why I always went over to Alexis’s, so I could know what it was to be a normal loving family, but I took that away from Alexis.
She deserved it anyway for making out with my boyfriend. I trusted her and I wouldn’t ever do that to her, but why did she do it to me? I then sat down on my bed and opened my computer. I signed into Facebook, and checked my messages. I had a message from David, my ex-boyfriend. What did he want now? I have bigger problems to deal with. He was also the one who sent me that picture of Alexis’s making out with my boyfriend.
He ended up sending another picture to me, It was the same picture, but looked more normal, like it was edited. I then looked at the picture very closely, and saw that the girl in the picture didn’t have a ring on her left hand. Alexis always wore a butterfly ring on her left hand. She never took it off and I remembering her still wearing it before I went into the party.
Alexis didn’t do it! Plus, Alexis was wearing an orange dress and this girl is wearing a white dress. I felt like shit now. I just killed my best friend’s mother for no reason. Oh my god! What the hell do I do now? I can’t go and apologize to her now. That won’t bring her mother back. I’m so stupid! I should’ve believed her from the beginning! I might as well just turn myself in. I deserve it for taking away Beth.
I then went downstairs and saw the police talking to my mother. I then went up to the police and my mother turned around and looked at me. She looked mad. More than just mad, angry.
“What have you done Samantha! You just ruined your whole future! Everything that I have ever planned for you…It’s all gone down the drain!” She yelled. I knew this was coming. She had always planned my future. I was going to be a model. I, personally, don’t want to be a model. I wanted to be a dancer, but my mother had already planned what I was going to do.
“Mom, listen, I didn-” She cut me off. “No, I don’t want to hear it from you.” She then looked back to the police. “Take that brat away!”
The officers handcuffed me and I went into the back seat of the cop car. As soon as they shut my door, I saw Alexis, May, and Nick. All of them staring at me with an evil look. I can’t believe I did this. Why didn’t I just listened to her in the first place? Oh, I remember now, I was too busy yelling at her because I accused her of cheating on my boyfriend. God, I’m so stupid.

That’s the end of this short story. Next Monday, I will be posting another story, but I will let you all vote on my Facebook Page.

~Chapter 5~

As soon as I got off the phone with the police, I then called May and Nick. I know May won’t take this very well because she was always a mama girl. Anywhere my mother went, May would follow her.
“May?” I said as I heard her pick up of the other line. I tried to hold my tears back, but I just couldn’t.
“Yeah, are you alright?” she said as I then wiped my tears away. “What’s wrong, honey?” After she called honey, I started to ball my eyes more. My mother would call me honey all the time. “Alexis? What is going on?”
“Just get here. Come home now, please, I need you. Mom needs you.” I cried even more. Just mentioning her name, was getting me even more upset.
“I’m turning on our street now, but why is there a bunch of cops outside our house?!?!” She said as I heard the door opened. I then hung up the phone and looked up to find an officer and paramedics in front of me. I looked back down at my mother and cried.
Then May and Nick rushed into the house as soon as I saw May,she was in tears. May got down on the floor and she took and hugged my mother’s lifeless body in her arms. She then looked up at me and then hugged me.
“Who did this to her?” May spoke after a few minutes of hugged me. I then looked down at the bloody floor and the piece of paper that I threw on the floor. I went over and picked it up and gave it to Nick. He opened it up and read it, then gave it to May.
“I can’t believe she did this. That spoiled brat and of course our mother didn’t fight back! She was weak and sadden by the lost of her husband. She is going to pay for what she did!” May was angry and I was afraid that she might do something that she might regret.
“Let the police take care of it. She’ll get what’s coming to her.” Nick said, helping her up from the floor as the paramedics took my mother away. “Why don’t you go upstairs and take a bath? I’ll be right up there.” May nodded and then went up stairs to go wash herself off.
May is a strong person. Even though our parents are dead, she has been strong. Even when she went through break-ups and the death of her first baby. I never thought May would ever get over that, but she did. She wouldn’t do anything for weeks, until she then moved on from it. I was about to go upstairs, but Nick wanted me to tell the police everything that had happen.
“Do you know where Samantha is living?” One of the officers asked me. I nodded and then told them where she lived. I hope that she get’s what’s coming to her.

This book is also on Wattpad, if you would like to check it out on there, just search my username katieasehl.

Crafty Sassy: Crochet Towel Topper (Easy)

44664318_1911676305807353_5391009887280955392_n

Hey dearies! I wanted to give you guys an updated pattern on the towel topper! I finally mastered it to my liking and I wanted to share it with you guys. If you didn’t know, my great-grandmother has been making these towels since I was really little and I’ve always wanted to know how.

Now that I have more knowledge on how to make them, I created a pattern that is, to me, perfect. Not too much yarn, but just enough to complete the towel itself. As you can see in the picture above, one of them is very long, that was one of my trial ones that I practiced on.

We are going to be making these ones:

20181024_121320.jpg

What you will need:

  • Medium Yarn
    • Find a color that you would think, would go good with the towel.
  • 2 different sizes of crochet hooks. You don’t have to use just one size, you can use whatever size you would like, these are what I prefer to use.
    • 5.0mm – This one, we will use to crochet the actual towel.
    • 3.0mm – This one, we will use to start off the towel.
  • Towel
  • A button, color of your choice
    • The size can be whatever size you would like, but nothing smaller than an inch.
  • Sewing needle
  • Ruler (Optional)
  • Black Marker (Optional)

Let’s begin!

Part 1: Starting the towel –

The first thing we need to do it cut the towel in half, like this:
43592885_483374518835072_2761795955673006080_n

As you can see, mine, isn’t completely even, which in normal because of the brand of towel I am using. It doesn’t have to be perfect!

Take one of the sides, of the towel, that you want to work with and lay it flat in front of you. If this is your very first time making this towel, I suggest grabbing a fine point black marker, it will make this next part easier.

Starting from the right side, take a ruler and measure 1/4 of an inch, place a dot with your marker and do that all across the towel. Make sure you are also 1/4 of an inch away from the top of your towel.

Untitled.png
If you aren’t good with measurements, here is 1/4 of an inch on a ruler.

Once you are done making the dots, you can begin! Take the smaller crochet hook (3.0mm) and some yarn. Poke your crochet hook in the very first dot, where you started on the right, pull some yarn threw that first hole and slip stitch (sl st) to lock in the yarn.

You are going to do this all across the towel, until you reach the end. Be careful that you don’t snag any of the towel strings, it can happen for some towel, especially for thin ones.

20181024_130853.jpg
This is what it should look like after you finish the first part.

When you reach the end, turn your work and switch the crochet hook to a bigger hook (5.0mm), and chain 1.

Part 2: Crocheting the towel –

Row 1 – Single crochet (sc) in between each stitch. Chain (ch) 1.

*Note – I am considering this as the first row because this is when we are actually starting to crochet.

Row 2 – Double crochet together (dc2tog) for the entire row. If you end up with an extra stitch that you can’t double crochet together, just do a simple double crochet (dc). Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 3 – Double crochet (dc) across. Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 4 – Single crochet (sc) across. Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 5 – Double crochet together (dc2tog) across. Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 6 – Single crochet (sc) across. Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 7 – Double crochet together (dc2tog) across. Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 8 – Single crochet (ch) across. You should end up with 8 stitches. This is needed for the button hole!

  • If you have 1 extra: Make a single crochet together (sc2tog) in the last two stitches.
  • If you are missing a stitch: Add another single crochet (sc) in that last stitch.

Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 9-13 – Double crochet (dc) across. Make sure that each row still ends with 8 stitches. Turn your work and chain (ch) 1.

Row 14 – For the last row, I’m going to break it down:

  • Single crochet together (sc2tog) in the first 2 stitches.
  • Half double crochet (hdc) in the next stitch.
  • Double crochet (dc) in the next stitch.
  • In the same stitch you just made the double crochet (dc), treble crochet (tr) in that same stitch. Chain (ch) 3.
  • In the next stitch, make a treble crochet (tr) and in that same stitch, make a double crochet (dc).
  • Half double crochet (hdc) in the next.
  • Single crochet together (sc2tog) in the last 2 stitches.

Fasten off and weave in any extra strands.

Part 3 – Button

Sew on the button in between the middle of the 8th row. Make sure that it is in the middle.

And you are finished!

These are a perfect gift to make for anyone! Especially, for craft fairs and such. Enjoy this pattern and if you make one of these towels using my pattern, please feel free to tag me on Instagram by using the hash tag #KatiePurrPurr.

*I created this pattern to my own liking, I do own it and you are more than welcome to use it or share it, but please do not take this pattern to sell as your own. When sharing this pattern, please make sure that you link it back to my blog. Any questions on the pattern, feel free to contact me*

Crafty Sassy: Halloween Jar Cozies (Intermediate)

Hey dearies! So, the Halloween Jar Cozies won for me to make on tonight’s live on my Facebook page! If you would like more information about that, scroll all the way to the end.

This is probably going to be on the the most challenging projects that I have tried, so bare with me! I want to shout out to Red Heart for this free pattern! Here is the link of the actually pattern:
http://www.redheart.com/files/patterns/pdf/LW4910.pdf

*Note: I don’t own this pattern, all rights go to the owner of the pattern. I make the pattern easier to understand, in my own words, but I DO NOT own this pattern!*

Here’s what you will need:

  • Medium Yarn
    • Red Heart Pumpkin, is what I’ll be using when I go live.
  • Crochet hook sizes 5.0mm and 3.75mm.
    • The smaller crochet hook is used to make some of the faces, you don’t have to do that.
  • Black Fabric
    • This is an option if you are a beginner.
  • Stitch marker
  • Sewing Needle
  • Row Counter
    • You can use a piece of paper, but I recommend using a counter, whether you use one on your phone or have a digital one like myself.

Let’s begin!

Grab your 5.0mm crochet hook and some yarn. Make a magic circle or an adjustable ring.

Round 1: Make 6 single crochets in the magic circle. Make sure that you don’t join this round! Place a stitch marker at the beginning of the round.

*Note: As we keep working up, move the marker up after the end of every round. It will make it easier to keep track of where we are at for each round.

Round 2: Make 2 single crochets in each of the stitches, until you reach where the marker is.

Round 3: Single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches. Make 2 single crochets in the next stitch. Repeat until your reach the marker.

Round 4: Single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches. Make 2 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the maker.

Round 5: Single crochet in each of the next 3 stitches. Make 2 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the maker.

Round 6: Single crochet in each of the next 4 stitches. Make 2 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the maker.

Round 7: Single crochet in each of the next 5 stitches. Make 2 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the maker.

Round 8: Single crochet in each of the next 6 stitches. Make 2 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the maker.

Round 9: Single crochet in each of the next 11 stitches. Make 2 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the maker.

Round 10: Single crochet in the back loop only, of each stitch around.

*Note: If you don’t know how to single crochet from the back loop only, here is a link to a video that will show you how:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phf7Nj0_LJg

Round 11-15: Single crochet in each stitches around.

Round 16: Single crochet together over the next 2 stitches. Single crochet in each of the next 24 stitches. Repeat once more.

Round 17-33: Single crochet in each stitch around.

Fasten off and you can remove the marker!

Now that we have completed the base, you can leave it how it is or take some black fabric and shape it to look like a pumpkin.

Best part about this pattern is that you can use whatever color you want and it would be the perfect cover for gifts, especially if you can! If you are looking to make it for a larger jar, check the pattern and look at the gauge.

I will be going live on my Facebook page tonight, showing you how to make this! If you are intersected in watching me make this, check out my Facebook page and make sure that you like my page, so that you can keep up to date on when I go live or make sure you don’t miss the polls!

~Chapter 4: The Second Worst Day Of My Life~

“Mom! May! Nick! Im home.” I shouted and walked into the house. All the lights were off. Maybe they went shopping. I then looked on the fridge and saw the note that May left for me.
Alexis,
Nick and I went out to have dinner. Mom knows where we are and I should be home around 8.
May & Nick

I then turned on the light to find a trail of blood on the kitchen floor. I slowly followed it until I reached a puddle of blood with my mom. Dead. Tears started to come down like a waterfall. I ran to her and cradled her in my arms, hoping that this was all just a dream. I pinched myself, but I wasnt dream. My fathers dead. Now my mother is. Who else will be taken from my life now?
I sat there, holding my mothers lifeless body, and wanted someone to take me too. Take me away from all of this. I want to be with my mother and father. I wanted all the bad karma to go away. I looked down at my mothers body, a knife was still in her heart. She was wearing a sweater with a pocket that was on her left breast. There was something white sticking out of that pocket. I reached out and pulled it from the pocket.
It was a folded piece of paper that was addressed to my name. I unfolded the piece of paper that was written in my best friends handwriting. Well, ex-best friend, but a best friend. As it read:
You made me do this. If you had not made out with my boyfriend,
she would still be breathing, now shes not nor will she ever. You
dont deserve to be happy. I do. Ive been through everything. And
yet, you couldnt help but be slut. I hope you die with your stupid mother.
And yet, she didnt put up much of a fight. Shes weak, just like you.
Stay away from me and my boyfriend.
Sami
I ended up crying even more. My mothers killer was Sami, my former best friend. She hasnt been through shit. She has gotten everything that she has ever wanted in life. Boys, clothes, cars, cellphone, laptops, and even flat screen TVs. She is nothing but a spoiled brat. I first lost my father, now my mother.
I end up crumpling up that paper and tossing it onto the floor. I then grabbed my cellphone and dialed 911.
911, what is your emergency? the 911 operator spoke as I wiped my tears and cleared my throat.
“Theres been a murder at my house. My mother is dead.” I spoke.
“Are you okay? Is anyone else hurt? We are sending help your way.”
“No, Im not hurt. Just hurry.”

~Chapter 3: It Wasn’t Me~

I woke up the next morning with someone pounding on my door. Ugh, what did May want now? I looked over at the clock, 10:15 a.m., I might as well get up anyway. I got up and answered the door. It was Sami at my door and she looked pissed. She slapped me across the face really hard. What the hell was that for?
“You are such a slut!” Sami said as I rubbed my cheek. Boy, did she slap me hard. “You knew how much I loved Ty and then you go ahead and make-out with him in front of me! He was my boyfriend and you had to have him, didn’t you?” I looked up at her, confused, as I was. I left the party to go get food with Chris and then he dropped me back home.
“I left the party, Sami. I bumped into Chris and we went to go get Chinese food. And after that, he dropped me off home.” I said as Sami pulled up her phone. “I didn’t even go inside.” She then she showed me a picture of a girl, who was wearing the same dress that I was, that night, making-out with Ty.
“You ‘left’ the party alright.” Sami said as she was getting sarcastic. “You are going to pay for this.” She said and then slapped me one more time and left.
I left the party when Chris did. I know that wasn’t me. I would never do that to anyone, especially to Sami, but to be honest, she kinda did deserve it. I mean, I was her only real friend who cared about her. Now she was on her own, I guess.
I then got dressed and walked downstairs to find my mother sitting in her chair reading a book. She looked up from her book and smiled at me. I returned the smile.
“Hey, mom?” I said as she placed her book down and had her attention at me. “Is it okay, if I go to the library to study with Chris?” I asked.
“Of course you can. Just be home before dinner and please make sure you get home safe and sound.” She replied as I grabbed my backpack and my car keys.
“Don’t worry, I will. I’ll be back for dinner.” I said opening the door. My mother then went back to her book and continue to read. I’m glad that she is doing better today. I then left my house, excited to meet Chris at the library. I’m so glad things are changing, hopefully for the better.

~Chapter 2: Best Night Of My Life~

Tonight was Hannah’s party and I was already nervous because I’m going to tell Chris how I feel tonight. Sami was already on board with the idea, but then again, when she goes to any party, she always wants to dance and have a good time.
I was waiting outside for Sami to come and pick me up when she pulled up into the driveway. I got in and she drove us to the party while listening to Rihanna, on the way there. My stomach was already turning. Ugh, why was I so nervous? I felt like I was going to throw up, but it was too late to back out now, we had just got to Hannah’s house.
“Do I have to go?” I asked as we stepped out of the car. “I’m feeling sick, please take me home.” Clearly, Sami was ignoring me because she was making sure that her hair make-up was okay. Then she looked up at me.
“You’re fine and you aren’t leaving until I want to go. And that will give you enough time to talk to Chris.” She said. I just wanted to leave. I can talk to Chris later. As soon as Sami walked inside and into the party, I started to turn around and walk home when I bumped into something.
“Oh, I’m sorry Alexis. I didn’t see you there.” As I heard a familiar voice, it was Chris. I looked up to see his hand reaching down to help me up. The butterflies were fluttering like crazy inside my stomach.
“Chris, I was actually just leaving.” I spoke as he helped me stand on my feet. We both stared at each other’s eyes. Like there was a real connection.
“It’s a shame that you aren’t staying, but then again, the only reason I did come, is because of you.” Chris smiled as I could feel my cheeks blushing. Did he just say what I think he just said?
“R-really?” As I said and looked at him in surprise.
“Yes, really.” He smiled once more. “Do you want to go get some Chinese food? My treat.” Chris knew that I loved to eat Chinese food all the time, if I could. I smiled and nodded my head. Hoping that tonight would be the best night of my life.

My Writing: Not Again – Intro & Chapter 1 (Short Story)

Not Again Book Cover

Hey dearies! Here is my next book! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that this is a short story that I wrote back in high school for one of my assignments. I’m surprised that my English teacher didn’t think I was nuts, but since it has sort of a ‘murder’ theme, I figured this is the perfect time to show it!

It is a short story and I haven’t had any time to edit at it, so I am sorry if they’re are errors. This is just to hold you guys off until I can get Unclear 2, at least, half-way done. This is a short story, so the chapters will be very short.

*Warning: Mature Content is advised! Read at your own risk!

~Intro~

It had been a year, since I lost my father. My mother was very upset when he died. He was her true love, her missing puzzle piece, and not to forget, her best friend. Ever since he died, my mother has changed. She started to work from home, not going out anywhere unless I begged her to go grocery shopping. She stopped talking to her friends, and just became a loner.
My older sister, May, and her husband, Nick, moved in because she knew that our mother needed to be safe and with her daughters by her side. Little did we know that she was going to be left from this world into another, until it did happen.

~Chapter 1: Before The Party~

~2 weeks before~
“Honestly, I really don’t want to go to Hannah’s party this weekend.” I told as Sami rolled her eyes. “I’m really not for parties anymore.”
“You need to stop hiding in the dark and have some fun in life! Just because today is the anniversary of his death, doesn’t mean you need to avoid big opportunities in life.” She said as she sat down at my desk, then taking out her phone and playing Angry Birds.
Sami love Angry Birds, she told me that’s how she calms down, when she sees people who she just wants to knock out. Plus she is very good, considering that she is failing Geometry for the 2nd year in a row.
“I know, but it all happened so fast…The cancer that we didn’t know about…” I spoke softly, hold the picture of me and my dad, when I was little. I can still remember that day by heart.
“Let’s not talk about this anymore.” Sami said as I could see she looked very annoyed with me. Goddamn, if I could smack her, I would. “How about we pick out an outfit that Chris will die for!”
Chris was my best friend as well. I’ve known him longer than Sami, but I shared my little secret that really liked him, more than friends. Since I told Sami that, she has been making fun of me for being scared to tell him that I love him. Nevermind that, I can’t even ask him out on a date, let alone tell him that I have major feeling for the guy.
“No, I really don’t want to go, Sami. And besides, he’ll never like me.” I said as I hid my face in my pillow. As if he would understand how I feel.
“You are not going to sit here and be a sour puss. You are coming to that party, whether you like it or not! I will drag you out by your hair if I have to!” Sami said as she was searching through my closet and then stop to pull out a orange summer dress. “You are going to wear this and you are going to look fabulous!”

If you want to check out the finished story, check it out on Wattpad! Just search my username, katieasehl, and not only will you find this work, but other’s I have either finished or I’m currently working on.

This is the part were you make the pumpkin look like a pumpkin. I wish I could explain it in my words, but the pattern does a better job then I do and I don’t want to copy and paste it onto this blog.

With that being said, I will be going live on my Facebook page, tonight, showing you how to make this, to the best that I can. If you would like to check out my Facebook page, click on the link below:

Edging: Chain 1 and single crochet all around the ghost. Work 3 single crochet in the same stitch for the very top of the ghost and the bottom points. Once you reach to where you started, fasten off.

*Note: You can stick with the plain white, for the edging, or do a different color, such as black or orange. For this pattern, they used just white.

Making the eyes and mouth: With a yarn needle, and the black yarn or the color of your choice. For the eyes, embroider 2 French knots (If you don’t know how to do them, the video that shows you how to make these will show you how to make the French knots.) For the mouth, embroider satin stitches over 2 rows for an oval-shaped mouth.

Then you are done!

If you are like me and need to visually see what you are doing from start to finish, click the link down below:

Normally, I go live with the pattern the same day I post them, but because I do not want to behind on the many patterns and projects I have in mind, I won’t be doing one.

~Chapter 20~

I parked on the side of the road, crying. I didn’t know that my life would turn on me like this. My father and brother were dead. I killed my ex-fiance. And I ruined a amazing relationship with Michael.
I was a terrible person. I was too emotional and blamed everything on him. I looked up from the wheel, in my mirror and saw another vehicle parked behind mine. Then I realized that Michael was coming out of the car.
I wiped the tears from my eyes as I rolled down the window.
“Can I get in?” He asked. I nodded and he went around to the car and got in.
“What?” I said.
“Please, just let me talk.” Michael spoke as I shut my mouth for once.
“Listen, I know you are going threw a lot, with your father and brother dying and you killing your fiance, its a lot. I know, but I still love you.” He paused for a second. “If you need to take it out on me, go for it. I can take it, but I can’t take not being with you. You need me and I need you. I have always been there for you. Please lets get another fresh start. We can leave this place and never look back. What do you think, Elizabeth?”
Fresh start didn’t sound that bad. After all, I was a murder. I killed my ex. Leaving this place wouldn’t be too bad.
I looked over at him and took off his sun glasses. I leaned over and kissed him. It felt so good. I felt the same spark I did the very first time he kissed me.
Michael pulled away and gently graced my cheek. “I take that as a yes?”
“Yes.” I then pulled him into a kiss.
______________________________________________________________
~3 weeks later~
Michael and I moved into a little 2 bedroom cottage that was right next to this beautiful lake. Our cottage was basically in the middle of no where.
With everything that we have been through, I was very scared, but Michael has his buddies always on watch, just in case something were happen to me or the baby.
Yes, that’s right, I’m pregnant! I took a test today and it came out positive. I folded up a oneise that I ordered online, waiting for this moment to give to him. I walked into our little kitchen and placed the oneise on the table and the pregnancy test next to it.
I looked out the window and saw Michael, no shirt, cutting firewood. I opened up the screen door and walked over to him.
“Why don’t you come in for something to drink? I’ll get you a beer.” I smiled as he dropped the ax and placed his arm around my neck.
“A little break won’t hurt.” He said as we walked up to the cottage.
I opened the screen door and walked towards the fridge and grabbing a beer for him.
“What is this?” Michael said as I turned around and placed the beer on the table.
“Surprise? I took the test today.” I said.
“We are going have a baby?” he smiled as I nodded. He wrapped his arms around me. He got down on his knees and held my stomach. “No matter what, I will always protect you, my little son, or daughter.”
He came back up to his knees and gazed in my eyes. “I love you so much, Elizabeth.”
“I love you too, Mikey.” I smiled.
“Marry me.” He asked. He got back down on one knee and held out a beautiful ring. “I was going to do this tonight, but I think now would be a better time. Elizabeth, I love you so much. There is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and our beautiful child to be. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
I started to cry and nodded my head. “Yes! I will marry you!” He placed the ring on my finger and kissed me.
After everything that had happen, I couldn’t of been more happier in my life. I am now engaged to a wonderful man and pregnant with our first child.
I just wished my brother was here to see me now. I know he is looking down on me, smiling from up above.
-The End-
Or is it?

Yes, this is the end of the book and I don’t have a sequel in mind. Although, I am working on a sequel for Unclear, but for now, I think everyone is wondering what is the next book I’m going to put out, well, that is a surprise!

I will also be doing a post with all the chapters on it, just so if you are new or can’t find a chapter, they will all be in one place! If any of the chapter links aren’t working, let me know and I’ll fix them as soon as possible!

~Chapter 19~

“What the hell is your problem?” I woke up to someone screaming in the next room. I looked over, to see if Dylan was next to me, but he was gone. I rubbed my eyes and got out of the bed.

“My problem is that you can’t just fuck her for the fun of it!” Once I heard that voice, I knew who it was. I ran out of the bedroom to find Michael and Dylan yelling at each other.

“We didn’t fuck! You need to relax and let her be her own person. I would never do that to her. I cared about her-” I stopped Dylan in the middle of his sentence.

“What’s going on?” I asked, Michael walked over and hugged me.

“I have been looking everywhere for you!” I pulled away from his embrace. “We are leaving.” He grabbed my arm, trying to pull me to the door, but I pulled away.

“No.”

“No?” Michael spoke.

“No, I’m not going. You need to leave me alone. I can’t forgive you for what you did.” Michael threw his hands in his hair and walked back and forth.

“It wasn’t my fucking fault! Whatever, blame it on me because I wanted to save your life so that we could be happy together. I’ve tried, I’m done.” Michael then slammed the door.

“I’m so sorry about that. I didn’t think that he would go all through this trouble to find me.” I said. I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door.

Dylan followed. I could hear his footsteps following me.
“Please don’t go.” He paused when I turned around. “Is there anything I can do to help you?”

I nodded and he lead me into the garage. “You can take my Jeep and go where ever you want.” He handed me the keys and I got in and just drove. I never wanted to look back.

If you can’t wait for the next chapter to come out, feel free to check it out on Wattpad! Just look up katieasehl and not only will you find this book, but others that are finished or I’m currently working on.

~Chapter 18~

I haven’t talked to Michael in over a week. I have been inside the house, crying over the death of my brother and drinking to heal the pain of losing him.
I walked into the kitchen and poured myself a shot. I downed it and poured another one. I saw Michael was still sleeping on the beach, he had gotten himself a tent and has been camping out on the beach until I welcomed him back in. Which I haven’t.
I missed him. I felt so stupid for blaming him for something that wasn’t completely his fault. I downed the second shot and looked at the time. It was only 3 in the afternoon. I figure I should get out of this house. I downed another shot and went to go get dressed.
I grabbed the car keys and walked out the front door. I wasn’t able to go to far because Michael was just about to knock on the door.
“Hey, how are you?” He asked as he looked down in my hands and saw the bottle of tequila and car keys I had in my hand. “Where are you going?”
I was silent and slowly walked passed him. I didn’t know what to say, but cry at this point.
“You shouldn’t be driving with that.” He said as I then turned to him and tossed the keys to him.
“Fine, I will walk.” I said before turning around and muttering ‘asshole’. I took another sip and walked down the boardwalk. It wasn’t that busy for a Friday, but it looked like it was going to rain. I still kept walking, taking sips of the bottle of tequila while people stopped and stared. I could care less. My life was coming to be pointless.
I found an empty bench that was facing the ocean, I just sat and watched the sun set. Someone came up and sat next to me. “Elizabeth?”
I turned and saw Dylan, the guy I met at the nightclub. I turned and faced the ocean again. “Are you okay? You look like you have been crying. Is everything okay?”
I took another sip and muttered ‘No’. I started to cry some more. “What can I do to help you? I’m not gonna leave you here to be drunk.”
“Can you bring back my dead brother?” I asked, looking at him.
“I can’t.”
“Then there is nothing you can do for me.”
“Where is your boyfriend? Do you want me to go find him for you?” I laughed.
“I never had one to begin with.” I said, still laughing that he thought that Michael was my boyfriend.
“Okay, well, what do you want to do?” He asked as I got up to stretch. “Get drunk with me.” I downed the rest of the bottle and handed it to him. I started to walk down to the nightclub, where we first met. Dylan followed and threw the bottle in the trash and grabbed my hand. I held onto his hand, not caring if Michael saw.
“I want some shots!” I yelled at Dylan, while we were standing at the bar. Dylan nodded and ordered some for us. Once they were in front of me, I looked at Dylan and grinned. “I’m gonna warn you that I’m already pretty drunk and that I might take your shots.” He then downed his and mine once I finished speaking.
“Hey! Now you need to order more!” I said, Dylan laughed and I smiled. I haven’t smiled in such a long time that it felt good to smile.
“Bartender, I need two more for her.” Dylan said as the bartender poured another two shots. I downed them both and looked up at Dylan. “Do you want to go back to my house? I’ve got a hot tub.”
“Yeah! I don’t have a bathing suit though.” I said Dylan paid the bartender and we started to walk out.
“That’s okay, I can buy you one or you can go in your bra and panties.” He smirked. I grabbed his hand as we walked down the boardwalk to his house. His place was huge, like a mansion, almost. “Dude, I didn’t know you were rich!” Dylan laughed as he opened the gate and held open for me. “Who do you think owns the boardwalk?”
“Shut up! No way!” I said as we walked up the path and entered into his home. We walked upstairs to his room and on the balcony was a hot tub. He started to take off his shirt and looked at me. “Well what are you waiting for?” He then got into the hot tub. I slowly took my tank top off and then my shorts. I was wearing a red bra and panties set. “Damn, you look hot.” Dylan said as I took off my flip flops and got into the hot tub.
“This is so relaxing. Thank you.” I said as Dylan smiled.
“No problem, do you want something to drink and some music?” He asked, I shook my head yes as Dylan got out. “I’ll be right back.”
I closed my eyes and just took a minute to relax. It was a long time since I have felt relax, or calm. Dylan came back in and had turned on a Pandora station and handed me a glass of red wine.
I took a sip as he got back into the hot tub. “You look a lot more stressed free.” He said as he sat down beside me. “With what I had gone through in the past week or so, I needed this.”
He wrapped his arm around be and took a sip of his wine. I did as well. He then smiled. “So now that you aren’t with that dude, am I okay to finish what I started?” He asked, I took a moment to think about it. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea? I’m drunk and I don’t think Michael would like the fact that I would be doing something with another guy. I was still upset with him.
I looked at Dylan and placed a kiss on his lips. I pulled back and looked up at the sky, a tear fell from my cheek. “If you don’t mind me asking, but what happened?” I was silent for a minute. I closed my eyes and all I could picture was that bloody scene, my brother, death in my arms.
“My brother was shot in the head by my ex.” I said as I looked at him. “I thought I was in love with my ex, but once we were engaged, everything changed about him.”
“He would beat and rape me. Some nights, I didn’t even want to go home. I didn’t feel safe anymore.”
Dylan stayed silent after I took another breath.
“One night, I had enough, he beat me almost to death and that’s when Michael took my brother and I here. I thought we would be safe, but he found me. My father was helping him look for me and he ended up killing him. Tim and I got away, but I blamed Michael for everything. Tim and I, stupidly, left Michael and stayed at a hotel. My ex found us, shot my brother and I killed him.”
I started to cry some more, Dylan then hugged me. “I’m so sorry, Elizabeth.” I looked up at him and he wiped my tears away. “Let’s get you into some dry clothes and get you some sleep, okay?” I nodded as Dylan helped me out of the hot tub. He gave me a shirt and sweatpants, that smelled like his scent. I laid down in his bed, placing the covers over me. “If you need anything, I’ll be downstairs.” As Dylan started to walk out of the room.
“Wait.” I said as Dylan stopped. “Can you lay with me?” I asked as Dylan nodded and got underneath the covers as well. He wrapped his arms around me and I fell off to sleep. The only thing that I was think about was Michael.
