Logan’s P.O.V
“So, what is the plan? What are we going to do about this?” I asked as I crossed my arms and stared at my Aunt Marie, waiting for her to say something that would change my mood that I was currently in. I knew what he wanted, but I wasn’t going to let my poor sister go through what our mother did.

“Well, we just have to keep an eye out for him. I’m sure he’s on his way here.” She said. I rolled my eyes.

“I’m talking about when he gets here. What are we going to do to protect my sister!” I shouted, which I could see how my Aunt was getting scared of me raising my voice, but no one was making a game plan.

I looked over at my father, I could see that he was thinking of a plan or some way that he could protect us from him. I just didn’t know what he wanted with me.

“Logan, that’s all we can do. As long as he doesn’t know how to get in, you two will be safe.” My Aunt tried to explain, I looked over at Athena, as she looked worried. I looked back at our father again, as he finally put his hands down.

“Marie, enough!” He took a deep breath and looked up to her. “We can’t just sit here like ducks, we need a fucking plan, one that will protect my children and you. I’m sure he’s gonna want to go after you, too.” Our father then sat up from his chair and stormed out.

“One way or another, I’m gonna kill him.” He said as he walked out of the room.

I looked over at everyone, they were just as worried as Athena was, expect James. I could see the concern in the eyes as he looked down, holding my Aunt’s belly. I knew he was worried about what would happen if Lucas ever did see her again. Especially with the fact that she’s pregnant.

I looked over at Dean, as he nodded his head for me to follow him, once we left the room, we headed towards his hall. “I have a plan, Logan. Whether our sisters are involved, we will be ready for anything.” As we enter the hall, I saw my father working on some weapons inside his home.

I looked all around the hall and saw decades of different weapon styles and from assassin blades to plain jane pocket knives.

My father looked up to me. “Here’s the plan, but don’t tell your sister.”

I watched as Dean and Logan left the table hall, but I glanced over at my Aunt Marie. I figured she would have a plan in motion, but nothing she was saying was making me feel any safer.

“Logan’s right so is Dad. We need a plan.” I repeated, but my Aunt Marie just started to cry, holding James’ hand. She looked so sad but kept rubbing her stomach, which was starting to grow, holding a miracle of hers.

“I’m so sorry, but I can’t think of what do to. As long as he doesn’t find out where this place is, you’ll be fine, but then again-” My Aunt Marie paused when my father’s cell phone started ringing, as he must have forgotten about it before he left.

I got up and walked over to it, slowly picking it up and answering it. “Hello?” I said. Something about this called made me shiver.

“Well, well, isn’t it my Athena. You sound just like your mother.” His voice make my skin crawl, knowing the information that I did know about him, it made my blood boil. “Why don’t we finally meet? I would love to see you and your mother again.”

“Why would I want to meet someone like you?” I snapped, but I could hear him chuckling on the other line.

“Well, my sweets, you will meet me real soon, whether you want to or not. If you want your family to live, you’ll do what I say.”

“What makes you think that I’m going to listen to you?” I left the room, waiting for him to answer, but he stayed silent.

“Because I’m already here.” My heart fell, I rushed away, looking back at the door that was keeping us safe, it was opened. Before I could answer, I felt the phone call to the floor and someone grabs me, holding their hand to my mouth.

“Hello, my Athena. Ready to finally be mine?” Lucas said as everything went black.

“James, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I feel so hopeless.” I said, as soon as everyone left. I knew they wouldn’t want me here when they find out that others could and would help Lucas find this place.

“We will figure out a way, but you should have told them that someone else could’ve told Lucas where this place was,” James spoke, as he held my hand.

I smiled as he placed a kiss on my hand, then placing a kiss on my stomach. “Just focus on this little one, I’ll talk to the others and see if we can come up with something.” He helped me up as we held hands together, but something in my gut was telling me something was wrong.

“Wait a minute,” I stopped to run over to the cell phone that was laying on the ground, but Athena was nowhere to be found. “Where’s Athena?”

I looked over and all around but didn’t find her. I then headed to her hall and ran over to her cottage. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. James finally caught up to me and tried to kick the door open. “It’s spellbound.”

I peeked into the windows and saw Athena tied up to her chair, dressed in her ritual dress. I could see tears falling from her face and blood dripping down from her head.

Then I saw him, he looked at me dead in the eyes, his eyes were coal-black, but he had aged a bit since I last saw him.

“Well, well, isn’t it Marie, the one that promised me I would get Jade, but yet has been getting busy with Mandy’s ex,” Lucas said than he looked over at James. “Boy, James, looks like you both haven’t aged a day. How was it being vampires?”

He grinned as I was shocked, only a few people knew we were vampires, I made sure of that, but how would he know? He was in jail for all those years ago. Jade and Tanner made sure that he wasn’t allowed to get out. Someone must have bailed him out and told him, but who?

“Marie, is that you?” I turned around to the voice that I’ve been missing for years. The voice that I fell in love with, but it couldn’t be so. As I turned around, I saw Eli standing there. “My Marie, my love. I’ve missed you.”

We embraced into a hug, as I couldn’t believe it was so. Tears kept falling down my cheeks, but I kept reliving that flashback of him being staked.

“Y-your alive?” I said as I pulled away and looked at him. He was still the same as I remember, also still a vampire. “I saw you get staked, we both did. How is this possible?”

I pulled away and held onto James. James saw it happen and he knew how heartbroken I was after losing Eli, I shut off my humanity for him, but James helped me regained it again. Without James, I don’t know if I would be able to be without Eli.

“I can’t tell you, but you need to come with me, both of you.” As Eli placed cuffs over our wrists and grabbed us both. “I’m sorry, I’ll explain later, but for now, just go with it.”
